Become A Tutor
We are looking for dynamic academic professionals with a passion for working with students, grades K-12, who can demonstrate the following:
- Expertise in a specific subject area
- A positive attitude
- The patience to deal with all learning styles
- The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents and teachers
- The ability to create a learning environment to meet individual student needs
- An authoritative, yet compassionate nature
- A desire to increase the confidence level as well as the academic success of a student
- A passion for teaching
Why Work for The Tutor Tree
- Once you become part of our database of tutors, we do all the work for you. We will match you with a student(s) in your area that need help with the subject(s) you are an expert on.
- Scheduling: You decide your own schedule, rather than working for a learning center that has specific hours of operation. You can work out a schedule that works for both you and the student(s) you are matched with.
- Billing: We do all the billing to the client.
- Receive a paycheck monthly once you begin tutoring.
